Synopsis
Govt. of India in a combined initiative of Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) launched various projects towards the skill development and skill-standard Integration under the title, SKILL INDIA MISSION with a core vision of changing the skill landscape of India.

Under the NSDC- led skill India mission, It is certain that the skill-landscape of India has taken a new course of profound transformation under the newly created curriculum standards based on National Occupational Standards (NOS) and National Skill Qualification Framework.(NSQF).

The transformations based on the employability based curriculum has already made remarkable changes in other skill sectors irrespective of whether technology or service. Currently, the NSDC and Union Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship have brought a phenomenal changes to the healthcare skill sector on the point of realization that India really needs a quantum change in the healthcare scenario in every sense. The very realization was arisen from the fact that; the healthy Individual makes a healthy society and a healthy society constitutes a healthy nation.

Design of Course Structure
The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) in coordination with the Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) have given fine inputs in designing the courses and making it updated and keeping it at par with international standards in order to achieve world-wide acceptance at all the destinations where the NSQF curriculum is accepted.

These courses are based on standards registered under National Qualification Registry (NQR). These are standard documents validated by stakeholders from industry, academia and various reputed associations in pan India basis. National Occupational Standards (NOS) describe the best practices by bringing together the performance criteria, knowledge and skills pertaining to a job role. A set of NOS- related to a specific job role is called a Qualification Pack (QP). A QP for every job-role is pegged at a National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF).
